SA NM M1A ( target pic ) and Socom 18 ( target pic) all set up...

Got both my SA NM M1A and one of my Socom 18 set up for shooting, both have the CASM gen ll scope mount, finally change the NM scope for a Bushnell 3200 10X490 Mildot, on the Socom a Nikon M-223 1X4X24 with a great target dot, both are equiped with a Voodoo cheekrest (this is a must)on the Socom a mandatory change is the guide spring rod, on this one a Black Arrow fluted was installed... JP.

Low Rifleman Leupold on the Socom 18 and Leupold steel Med, on the NM but i am going to buy some low one when i go to Baron, it will be optimal for the cheek rest... JP.

There a group from the picknik table beside the house, with cheap Norc Ammo, this SA NM M1A rifle with CASM genll mount and the Voodoo checkrest piece is an awsome shooter... The M14 is a great base for a semi auto rifle, accuracy is astonishing ( we are talking of basic cheap ammo here, or could it be that it is not that cheap after all), very proud of my rifle... JP.

Three things I learned from this post:

1. Not to miss the chance for a Socom 18 @ $499.00
2. I need the option of a pile of scopes to choose from
3. 1000 rounds of Norc 7.62 nato will be my next purchase

did the socom group aswell ? I'd be surprised if it was that good... as the NM should have a much better trigger and tolerances

by the way, those 2 guns look awesome !

The Socom did well to not as good as the NM but it is a shooter, on the left target it is not a flyer, i decided to move windage to the right after i shot the right target, explaining the distance...
With premium ammo we should have tons of fun... JP.

I am kicking myself for buying that xcr and similar after having one for sure ! It seems like a bargain compared to other stuff I'm curious about the sg 542 308 though. However seeing what that match can do a folding stock coolness seems lesser.
