Anyone rocking Czech SA VZ-58 Alpha Handguards on 7.62x39? If not what are you using, how heavy is it, and does your optic hold zero after disassemble?

Thanks ahead of time for your help Ladies & Gents!!!

I use the NEA upper and a bushnell trs-25 cuz I can still use irons with that set up. Holds zero even after disassembly. And u can check it against yours irons just by lining them all up with your eye. Very lightweight too.
Sorry can't speak on any of the other brands. Only used the NEA. But I've read good things about the BC tactical handguards. Very nice build quality I've read.

I rock the BC tac hand guards... GREAT quality, keep in mind 15 min of handy work may need to be done... I only put in ten, ended up bending my gas port by putting to much pressure from the hand guards... Made a bur in the port and seized the gas piston... 10 min fix if you have tools for it or 40 bucks and 10 at a gun smith lol. Take the time, to file where they specify on their site and you will have NO problems.

Almost no extra weight, I find a better grip when you put some ladders on the side rails. Was running a vert grip put and AFG on and like it more.

Also they don't block iron sights... I love me some iron sights so that was a huge thing.

Great heat dispersion and lets a lot of that crappy cruddy air fly out of the upper hand guard to it doesn't take you 10 wipes to clean because its not trapped in there like it is with the stock upper.
