Has anyone else had the fore-end release rod and spring fall out of their double rifle? I was on a moose hunt up north and had the rod and spring fall out. lucky for me I noticed it. By the looks of things a small retainer pin has come out on the bottom of the rod. I haven't had a chance to take apart the fore-end to see what's in there yet.i can't say that I'm impressed at this point but I guess one has to spend more to expect things to stay together for more than two seasons

Heddock overall I'm happy with the rifle I put a scope on it as my eyes aren't what they used to be.i've taken a couple of deer with it an Elk last year and a bear this year the longest shot was the Elk at 119 yards the only follow up shot was on the bear this year my fault not the guns if I keep my shots around 100 yards or under it works quite well.The only time I sometimes wish I had brought my 358 Norma along is when they hang up at 300 yards and it's the bull I've been looking for for years
