I had one of the $500 Rovers and didn't think they were worth $500. Cast receiver, and cast/mim everything else other then the barrel.

European once big name manufacturers are bought out and producing substandard junk for the unclean masses.
Same as Umarex (traditional airgun builders) dragging Hammerli, Pardini & Walther handguns threw the mud.

Pure corporate greed at the expense of the blindsided consumer.

Edit: When you have up and coming developing nations such as India alongside the popularity of women learning to shoot handguns, one can see greed becoming uppermost amongst some shareholders.
