So I'm looking at the Sabatti Rover Alaskan in 300 win for a new bush rifle but noticed they're using an aluminum action for this. Does anyone have some thoughts on how well this would hold up under use with a magnum cartridge? It seems to me like the threads might let go on the stock screws as that's a lot of impulse loading for aluminum. As well, aluminum fatigues a lot worse than steel overall(cumulative, minimal spring back, micro fatigue fractures) and I'm really not sure about this application as there's a lot of recoil involved here that the receiver as a whole has to put up with. Thoughts and comments?
