sabatti rover

Not bad, not great, they cast everything they can (receiver, small parts) so the finish is a bit rough. Stocks are comfortable both wood and synthetic, rifles are heavy, not as accurate as lots of others in the same price range.
For basically the same price, $649 and free shipping you could snag a Browning AB3, which is much better made out of forged & billet steel, with much better fit & finish, 3-lug 60 degree bolt throw, factory bedded, lightweight, and very accurate.

And you don't have to buy from disgraced dealer Marstar lol

anyone got one? whatcha think? marstar has them on for a pretty good price

I got mine in 7.62x39mm from Marstar but this caliber is sold out now. Synthetic stock because wood was sold out.
Receiver is made of 4140 CM Steel, hardened. The barrel is made of 4140 CM, Cold Hammer Forged.
Bolt is steel. A mag well insert and trigger guard are made of cast aluminum alloy but it really doesn't matter. Trigger is steel.
Trigger pull on mine is 3.45+-0.34 lbs from five measurements. Perfect for me. The bolt is very smooth on my rifle and locks up very decisively.
The downside is polymer mags which are relatively expensive at $45. Nevertheless, I bought two to be on the safe side.
So far, I've been shooting non-corrosive Tula and Chinese ammo with steel cases and PPU brass. No problems whatsoever. But, so far, only 170 shots due to bad weather. I don't have a scope yet. With iron sights I can do 2" groupings at 100 yards using Chinese non-corrosive and my very old eyes. A PPU ammo was not so great. I'll see with a scope when it gets warmer.
A very good rifle for the money. I recommend it.

Got mine in stainless 223. Good value for the money, not as accurate as the Stevens 200 it replaced but also not as fugly either.

I'm very happy with my Sabatti in 7.62x39. The most accurate ammunition, including my reloads is the cheap Czech surplus stuff. PRU is good as well and is soft tip so can be used for hunting. The absolute worst was American Eagle, which I understand is not actually 7.62. Much like dropping a golf ball down a drain pipe. Total trash.
