I just bought a remington 1187 sp-t in 3.5". When looking at rifled barrels for deer hunting in the fall, Hastings and remington barrels on the Cabelas web sight for example state that these rifled barrels cannot be used on 1187 super magnum 3.5"chambers. Does anybody with 1187 3.5"chamber have a rifled barrel with 3"chamber. I didnt think it was an issue as I have a 3"rifled on me benelli nova 3.5"chamber and it works great....?

They use a different barrel for the 3.5" sp, they only have a 23" fully rifled with rifled sights.
