sabot bullet

Hi I just want to know if I can use sabot type bullet in a 1:48 twist barrel or only conical(full lead) and spheric

For a general answer; use the greenhill formula. Twist equals 150 x diameter squared over length. Notice that you can switch length and twist to calculate the twist you need to stabilize a given length of bullet and most people use 1" faster twist than the formula suggests.
