Gents, I've got a question:
I recently stocked-up on supplies for my Savage ML. I bought my usual 250gr Hornady XTP bullets, but they didn't hve any MMP sabots. The brand I ended up buying are the black high-velocity type(Hornady), but they're quite a bit longer... the sabot goes right to the tip of the bullet.
Is there a difference negative or positive to having a longer sabot?
