Safariland Holsters

How are people getting their Safariland holsters?

R. Nicholls is the Canadian distributor (i.e. useless, out of stock, slow and overpriced) and they don't carry the full range.

I can find the items that I want stateside, but export control on holsters? WTF?. Brownells, Copquest and others won't export any Safariland products to Canada.
I can't imagine that holsters are ITAR controlled, so it might be a company policy.

So are we really limited to driving down south and buying them in hand if the model isn't available in Canada? Anyone had any luck sourcing a dealer who will ship them to Canada?

I got a bunch of safariland stuff from a place called copsplus, I think they were out of New York

I just heard this week from the Canadian Safariland Rep and the District Manager (not Nicholls) that Safariland will FINALLY re-open their dealer program up here....you should see something in the next 3-4 months, however it may be 6 months.

I got a 50% off for Safariland and Bianchi products at hosters.com through IDPA. So I just phoned and phoned until they finally took my order. I got it weeks later but at least it was all 50% off. Another time I just ordered from cops plus no problem.

Bummer. Hard enough finding a 6534DO down south, let alone up here.
