I got a really nice safe from DVC in poco for 299.00 it holds 8 long guns and a second lock box inside it that could hold 3 handguns.
I think it is a Northern Safe Co brand. Call Kelly and see if he has more.

Not if you keep enough guns and ammo in it. When it is totally empty and if you open the door quickly it tips, a little, but nothing bad.

That's not bad. How often should your safe be empty anyway?
The costco one is guilty of that too, heavy door.

Hi, does anyone know if Costco still sells these "Brinks" safes anymore? I bought one two years ago for $350 but all they have listed on their website now start at $899. http://www.costco.ca/Common/Search....e=1_en-_-Top_Left_Nav-_-Top_search&lang=en-CA

Why I ask is I need another one and I would be buying a Costco membership primarily just to purchase another safe in the Victoria area. Any other suggestions for safes in Victoria would be awesome.

The Costco one everyone's raving about also goes by the Honeywell name.

It sold out at my local Costco and has been replaced w/ a smaller one (not really meant for guns).

So the Costco safes tip over? The one I was wanting to get is $469.00 and gos on sale sometimes for $369.00 It looks like a ok size and it looks like it is built ok not made of tin. Not a bad price even a $469.00

Won't tip over if you bolt it to the wall, and floor, as per Canadian laws!

I haven't had a problem with mine tipping over either. Costco around here still carries them but, as dingbat said they're not labeled "Brinks" anymore. Still exactly the same safe, manufactured by the same company, except for a few minor adjustments in the accessories (I think they removed the bungee cord mesh inside the door IIRC).
