Sage chassis owners, source for Larue LT-608 mount

Took about a month to get mine from Blaxsun.....not much of an issue.

Mine shipped within 3-4 days. It seems it comes down to getting the orders in from across the way and what is currently available in his inventory.

I'm guessing from the additional interest now that a few more Sage stocks have made it into the country he'll probably have more on hand then before.

to answer questions about my mounts...... I have 3 designed, drawn and prototyped and waiting to be machined...... seems all i do is fricken wait for cnc time and get bumped.... something i'm getting VERY weary with.
designed and ready for machining are the following
1)UTG rail extension which engages both the utg and the receiver
2)Adjustable height stripper clip dovetail mounted 2 slot rail for use with UTG, SAGE and KAC products... very similar to the airsoft mount that fabsports is selling but ours is made for a battle rifle, not airsoft and as stated is height adjustable
3) sight base for replacing rear sight, onto which one can afix a dr optic, leupold T/P or similar optic or instal a rear flip up battle sight for use with flip front battle sights on the sage, utg ect. This one does not bridge the gap for standard optics.... but would probably enable cowitness with an eotech or similar.

so I have done all i can on these, right to prototype and drawings for mr cnc ..... BUT so far I have only been disappointed by those i have taken the items to that can do such work. So, until the right outfit can work with me to actually get it done in a timely fashion...... on hold. I check with this shop every couple weeks and frankly have gotten bored of hearing, yup we'll make that ......... but haven't even started after months of saying no problem, leave the prototype and drawing with us...... do i sound a bit jaded?? absolutely

so, I can make my stocks in my own shop, no cnc required hehehe so 100% of my energies as far as new products go are being directed to those projects and if some cnc shop out there wants to make some money....... I'm waiting, but don't contact me unless you are committed to seeing the idea through.

LaRue LT608

Length of usable rail: 5.75"
Weight: 6.8 Oz.

SAGE M14DCSB

Length of usable rail: 6.75" (the extra length is at the rear of the mount)
Weight: 8.8 Oz.

Builder:
The Sage Cantilever also uses a clamping action to connect to the rail as opposed
to a camming type of action that will eventually damage or remove finish from the rail.

This is just an observation from the pictures that were posted of the LaRue underside.

A separate base is inserted into the existing stripper clip guide and locked into place with a set screw.
This item acts as a locater and base for the rear of the cantilever rail.
Once it's lined up, you bring the dog point screw down until you see the rear of the DCSB start to rise,
then screw down 1/2 a turn more to pre-load the cantilever.

We have done high speed video of this configuration and it is rock solid during firing.

I hope that helps,

Can anyone post a pick of the mount that was bought from Blaxsun? Or post his info. I am looking for a scope mount to go with my sage stock.

The images in the very first post is of the LaRue LT-608. There is also a link there to the posting that has the listing for the mount for sale by blaxsun.

Did you end up keeping the LT-608 on your M21A5 CH EBR SASS build?

Ok. Here's some pictures of the LT-608.

To be quite frank, this one is one really nice mount.
