Sage Detachable Cantilevered Sight Base

Any one using one? reviews on the base etc?

Been wondering how effective the NEA Cantilever mount would be if turned around and used on the sage or other forward-railed M14 systems. I don't have a M14 in the shop anymore to try it out.

The Sage use a clamping mechanism. So it has more surface to absorb the leverage on the left side of the rail. The Larue is more likely to damage your rail. Besides that, they're both hi quality.

I have a Sage mount and its definitely worth the money. I have not mounted any optics yet because I don't have a M14. It fits and clamps very securely to the sage chassis (waiting for my future M14 ). I was told that if you remove and reinstall it it should be with in 1/2 MOA

Del Selins in Vernon sells then. I don't know if they still have anymore though. I bought mine about a month ago.
