Sorry, can't really find any good photos online, but there are good ones in the magazine. And apparently AO will be selling their new rifles with the stock already installed.

Okay, did not log on expecting tacticool M1 carbines today.

None the less, looks nice. Wonder what the price will be.

Probably more than a nice AR15 would cost.
BUT
I love the carbine and any reviving of the rifle & more importantly the cartridge, is good news.

oh, I know, historical round and everything.

but if we are putting it in a modern chassis anyways, we may as well put a round thru it that is both heavier and faster, as well as more availiable.

There's always something 'heavier and faster'

A heavier & faster m1 carbine is the m1 garand or m1a, or maybe even a mini14(faster, more energy, not heavier)

The 30carbine is already heavier hitting than a 44magnum(from a handgun length barrel).

I like the look for sure.

how good a shooter is one of those carbines?

also, can you convert it to something besides that .30 carbine round?

an american general whos name i forget once said the m1 carbines round is strong enough to pierce a japanese helmet so its good enough for me

Why? Take away the utility of good peep sights and make the whole thing heavier? I'll pass. Also, a .44 mag in a carbine beats the .30 carbine every day of the week.
