Ok, I am waiting to buy an M14 from marstar whenever their shipment arrives, and I would like to get a sage EBR stock for it. Where can I find one of these in Canada and how much are they? Is it a heavy set up? Thanks guys.

IIRC they retail for about 700US (correct me if I'm wrong), buy a moded USGI fiberglass from bladerogers.

No businesses that I know of carry/sell the Sage ChopMod stock. The few that were for sale here were going for $1200.00 Cdn.

Depends on how you build your rifle up, but they can get heavy.

The one I had a line on has been sold.

Thanks guys. If I can find one I may get it...I love the look. Now that I see both I do like the ChopMod stock better. Too bad there are no dealers in Canada for them...maybe somebody should step up to the plate and start bringing them in.

I want one too. I have been bugging Questar to bring some in. I still have not heard what he is going to do yet... PM Questar and add you name to the list:)

This is the reply from Mark at Questar...

Matt:

I appreciate your input and we are looking at their products. We spoke to the at the SHOT Show and they are supposed to get back to us to discuss it further.

Does anyone know if individuals are restricted from importing these individually?

Individuals can import the Sage stocks, but they will require a U.S. export permit because they are over the $100.00 U.S. limit.

Now it also depends on whether Sage will currently ship to Canada. Many companies will not ship goods up here (IE, Fulton Armory).

12 llb???!!!???

My Sage with the Medium NM CrazyHorse barrel & Mk-4 scope weights in at 15 lbs loaded.

This was built as a DMR/Mark 14 Mod 0 clone, so weight wasn't a big deal.

However I did build a nice 18.75" barrelled stripped down shorty for close in stuff and quick handling.;):D

Marstar Tacticle stock

I see a retail price of $675.00 on the Marstar stock....seems to be a whole lot more affordable than a sage. Some how I just knew that if I waited long enough that Marstar would step up to the plate and deliver a Tac stock for all of us m14 fans to play with. Got to get me one of those !!! Mike
