sage striper clip base with strikefire

my sage scb has worked great with my scope so when I bought a socom18 from the ee and was thinking I could mount my strikefire 2 with the scb on it but then I got worried if its strong enough to with stand the recoil.

I only ask because with my sage and base there are two points of contact



But with the scb there's only one that equals more stress on this little piece of metal


Anyone ever placed a red dot on a sage stripper clip base before can it even be done.

I'd personally go with a forward mount for a Socom. Some people go the "strip guide" mount way and add a red dot with some success.

That's a different one but seeing it's been done I'm going to try it out I just hope if it breaks my strike fire won't get smashed.
