The Saskatoon Gun Club 2008 is indeed alive and well and rebuilding as fast as we can.I wont address the rumours and misinformation I saw on the site in other threads. Here is the straight dope from an executive member.
We have 1-1/2 quarters of land east of the city in RM aberdeen. Go out hwy 5 for 7 miles past the aberdeen turnoff( Hwy 41) to OLD 27 road. Go north 3-1/2 miles to our new road which will get signed Gun Club Road, go east 2 miles and turn right. You are there.
We have built 6 completed trap setups, working on 4 skeet fields, the bunker is built and we are trying to roof it before the big snows come. The clubhouse is up, sheeted, drywalled wired.
We will have 2 trap shoots in 2009 and hope like hell to get 2 skeets and Sporting Clay birdbrain working very early in the spring. The tower was supposed to be set up this week.
We have a great location and if you dont mind peace and quite and a great view we know you will love it as well. We are dedicated to reviving the club to a great place to shoot and socialize.
