Hello everyone. Just got a moose tag in the mail today so I have a question. I've been looking up information about Sako ammunition and I noticed they have a 300 win mag shell with a 220 grain bullet. I was wo if any has used these before or if anyone knows of way way get them. Thanks

You can get them through any stoeger (Beretta/Sako/Tikka) stocking dealer. I bought a few boxes of 300WM in Edmonton early this year, came in at 70$ a box, but still as good as ever (I used to use this stuff years ago before they stopped importing it). I just punch paper with mine these days, but know it gets good use in Scandinavia for moose. Norma 300WM in the heavier loads can be found sometimes as well (pretty much the same price). (if you reload its worth it for the brass)

Awesome thanks for the info!! Yeah my father in law has some 338 win mag Sako ammo he got with his rifle and he liked it a lot. I've never seen any 300 win mag bullets under 200 grains before and it caught my eye!!

sako 220 grains is an aweosome ammo, my steyrmannlicher was factory tested with 220 grains bullets, it has a good accuracy, they are still for sale in france around 50euros a box. I killed a lotof boars and deers with this sako ammo. I am interested to get some too, i could only find 180 grain.
