i am hopeing that someone out there may have a idea of the price range of a sako 6PPC model 75 sporter she is in great shape no dings less than 150 rounds through it and shoots ridiculous groups well under 1/2 MOA she is a real beauty has a 4 round detach mag. thanks

Is it blue and walnut, or stainless and laminate?
I have seen them on Gunbroker for around $1000 to $1300 used, and more if they are unfired.

blued walnut sporter barrel extensive barrel break in just in pristine cond.

One thing to watch out for, is problems with feeding. I had the same rifle you are talking about, several years ago. It was very accurate for a sporter, but those fat, stubby cases, just did not feed worth a darn. It might have been just that particular rifle, who knows? I am an avid Sako 75 fan though.

You are right, most Sakos don't have problems with feeding; although I have spoken with another CGN member that had a Sako 75 .22-250 that had feeding issues if he wasn't firm with the bolt handle....

There was one on the EE not that long ago that went for $1600, but it was for sale for several weeks. FS

Friend has a Sako 491 series 6PPC sporter blue/wood and asking $1300 and has yet till sell it!
It is interesting though that Sako nolonger chambers this cartridge?
