The title says it all. Can the Sako 75 V (magnum) action handle the .338 Lapua? I have tried to find the answer online, but to no avail! I'm in no rush but may buy a 300 WSM 75 finnlight (one of the forst ones on the long Mag) and if I shoot it out it would be an awesome rifle in .338 LAPUA. Thanks.

Dont know if it will help, but I had a 995 for 2 decades, toast 2 barrel and the 300 pills are lo long no mags on the market are long enough to fit them in. So I sold it and built from a tac338 single shot

I know that seating to mag length is tough with the big .338s. I have a RUM with the Wyatts 4" hinged floorplate (rem 700). I was just kind of hoping that the Sako 75 action would be strong enough and have enough steel to support the fat Lapua case.
I also have a .338 Lapua custom on a Stiller predator action using AI mags, the 75 mag seems to be longer than the AI!

I would lobe to het my hands on a trg-s mag action, but they are as much or more than a custom in a lot of cases. And they were not stainless. I guess my question is will a .338 Lapua fir on a Sako 75 magnum action?
