Anyone shooting a Sako 85 Gray Wolf in 22-250 and if so what are your experiences?

I just bought one today to replace my Ruger M77 tang safety in 22-250 and was wondering what others think of the rifle...

OK so I have this thing for stainless steel black/gray laminate firearms...

Sako

I dont have a m85 but have a few Tikka T3 LS models and two Sako m75 Greywolf rifles (300WSM and a custom 338-06AI) love them. Looks, feels...great shooters.

I personally am not a model 85 stock fan...dont like the design.

Why did you ditch the Ruger?

Ever since I saw the first stainless steel black gray laminate rifles/handguns I've had this thing for them and started switching all of my firearms over to this configuration.

I also spend a lot of time in jet boats or along the coast of BC and got tired of having to spray down my rifles every day so I got into stainless steel.

This Ruger is one of the last blued guns I hadn't replaced yet, I will not be selling the Ruger it will be sitting in the safe for my son to use it is far to accurate and has to much history (my grandfather who has now passed away gave it to me) to let it go...

This new Sako, a new to me but used stainless steel T/C Contender carbine in 375 Win and a 50th anniversary Rem 700 LSS in 280 Rem are my 50th birthday presents to myself so far this year and yes I already have a set of black/gray laminate stocks to fit to the Contender... :)
