What do you think?

I wonder if the synthetic stocked models also have the steel bracket and how it is secured.

The synthetics are the same, except the lug is rivetted into the stock.

As for durability the Laminate stock I have on my Sako 85 is now 3 years old and has been hauled around in BC and toted through the Ontario rasberry bushes and swamps and still seems to shoot fine.

Here's a 100 yard target with 210 Original X's...I pulled 2 out of 5 shots on here, as I'm no crack shot .

That picture makes the 85 look like something produced in a third world sweatshop. Must have been designed by a bean counter. I will never own one.

Pop the stock off of a Kimber 8400 and dare to compare.
