Sako A7 rebarreling

Can a Sako A7 be barrel with a custom BBL after it has been shot out? Im shooting a 22-250 and can easily put 1000 rounds through it in the summer at the range and heard a 250 will start to loose accuarcy in 1k.

I would not be in a big hurry to scrap that A7 22-250 barrel. 1K is not enough to wash the throat of your barrel unless you have been shooting it fast enough to get it extremely hot a number of times.

I ran a 220 Swift up to 2600 rounds before accuracy started to drop off.

To answer your original question, though....Yes, an A7 can be rebarrelled.

Rebarrelled my Sako 85 with no troubles. It shoots better now than it ever did before so no worries when or if the time comes.
