Sako AV Fiberclass?

Looked at a Sako AV Fiberclass in .338 wm today and have some questions to ask.

-I think AV applies to the action what does AV stand for and is it as good as their older models?

-How does A Sako 75 compare or are they the same?

-Who makes their stocks (McMillan)?

Any other comments or complaints of this rifle would be appreciated.

The AV action is top notched.
I feel they are as good of bolt action as ever was made.
They are not the same as the 75, Actually I prefer the A series of actions.

IMHO, the A series actions are better than the M75...the stock is a MacMillan....I had a FibreClass in 7-08 a couple years ago...nice setup.

Looked at a Sako AV Fiberclass in .338 wm today and have some questions to ask.

I sold my AV Fiberclass in .338 WM. It was the mildest recoiling .338 I have ever fired. It was accurate too. If you are in the market for a .338, you should consider snatching it up!

Fibreclass

This sounds like a keeper--if the price is right--to me. AV (A5) actions are favourites of many Sako people. I have two and consider them excellent shooters. AV in .338 WM sounds like a fine choice to me for a hunting rifle.
Sako mostly made and continue to make their own stocks.
