Sako bolt handle blueing turning purple

What can be done about that? The rifle will be getting a new Leupold shortly, 2-7x33 gloss and the bolt and handle will be the only thing standing out as not perfect. You guys like the Leupold one piece ring/base for the Sako?

I think it has something to do with the hardness of the steel. How to correct it, I'm not sure either apart from re-heat treating the bolt handle. You could remove the blueing and leave it in-the-white. I've seen a lot of bolts left in-the-white and they look quite attractive.

IMHO, one-piece scope mounts are better than 2-piece mounts because it minimizes ring mis-alignment.
