Sako bolt shroud questions

I have a three stainless Sako rifles and there is one I'm kind of wondering about.

In the picture below, (from left to right), Sako 75, Sako 75 and a Sako 85.

- The 85 is self explanitory and the bolt shroud looks like I expect with a full shroud coving the firing pin.

- The 75 in the middle has Sako's version of J-lock (bolt lock).

- The 75 on the left, I dont know much about. I always thought the 75 bolt shroud was a full shroud like
the one from the 85 in the picture. The bolt shroud is also a blackish color and the bolt body is blackish as
well.

I've got some good info from a CGN member on how to modify the 75 bolt with the bolt lock, and replace
that particular shroud with a new one.

I'm mostly interested in the bolt on the left. Particularily why a stainless bolt has the black body and blackish
colored shroud. Is it an older model of the 75 or has someone fooled around with it? Any info on the bolt/bolt
shroud would be greatly appreciated.

Either way, end goal is to replace the bolt shrouds on both 75 bolts with updated ones like the 85.

The one on the left looks like an M995 shroud somewhat modified.

The M995 has a small hole in the rear where the cocking indicator protrudes.

Not sure if it would fit the 75 bolt though.

It is definetly an odd one.

Here are a few more pictures. The shroud definately doesnt look modified to me.

I would guess modified M995/TRG shroud as well. Probably modded it to replace a key concept shroud. Also, I've yet to see a 75 bolt body that was blued...

The rifle in question was, for lack of a better term, "right screwed up" when I got it.

From what I can tell, the barrel was cut back and recrowned, and some open sights were added.
Some sort of textured coating was sprayed on the whole rifle, and someone lovingly drilled a hole
in the tang of the stock and glued a 7mm Rem Mag case in it. I cant explain the color on the bolt body
but it'll be buffed off.

I've pulled the factory barrel and am currently working on rebarreling to 257wby with a Shilen barrel.
The stock will be replaced with a McMillan Edge after the metal work is done.

I'm doing my best to "un-bubba" this poor rifle.

I wouldn't bother spending the money on a new pin and shroud for it. It looks OK and I assume it would work fine.

You forgot to mention it was a pro sniper's rifle...LOL
