Am I the only one that would pay more for a gun with a nice wood grain stock compared to a plane looking one . Has anyone had their sako or cooper stock move to touch the barrel or change POI on their guns .
I've had 4 over 25 years and haven't had an issue .
I think between weight and appearance I would pay more for the appearance, but I like extra weight in a rifle within reason .
I mean I would pay more for a high quality McMillan/manners or some comparable but these factory synthetic stocks are nothing special and I question if their as good as wood especially laminate .
What's the chances of a synthetic stocked gun turning into a heirloom?
