Sako/FN action question??

Does anybody know about older Sako models that used an FN action?

Any links or pics? I've never heard of them till yesterday.

Basically a commercial Mauser 98, albeit a nice one. Sako used them for a few years until they went with thier own designs, post war. - dan

Friend of mine here has one, a 300 H&H and a beautiful rifle!

That rifle Casull has is a beauty,I thought long and hard about
the trade we did,I wanted that 375 and I got it.I hope he keeps
the sako,only one like it I have ever had.It just holds right.375rum

That's the one, and it certainly does hold nice!

It shoots well too. I shot it at 460 yards ten days or so ago. It was very impressive. I am well impressed with the workmanship in that rifle, Sako and FN obviously knew what they were doing.

Rob, perhaps we need to trade the antelope hunt for your 300H&H.
You must bring it down for your 'lope hunt at least and we can pretend we are on an African safari for Impala. Pure classic combination.

They also made them in the short action lengths--I have one in .222 with the "pencil" barrel--superb walking around varmint rig.
