Sako Grey Wolf

What makes the Grey Wolf different from the other Sako 75 rifles?
Does it have any plastic on it like the Tikka's?

Grey laminated stock, still the same 75 all stainless steel barrel and action.
No Plastic except the interior ring on the Optilok's

Who has one what say you? Fondled one at the counter today in 30-06 seemed very nice, action smooth. Asking $1490 is this fair?

not a super deal, just regular price. they go for about 1500$ . If you have the dough to spare, BUY IT!

Got a hold of one at Russels in Calgary today! Man...thats a fine looking rifle. I have a Sako 75 hunter in 300 win mag and would love to add the grey wolf to my small rifle battery. Very cool! 8)

No plastic like the Tikka T3 LS. Beautiful rifle. I wanted to buy a Sako LS, but they did not have one out in hunting calibers - just varmint. I waited the extra year for my Tikka T3 to get the LS over they SS. But if you want to save a little cash, and buy a better scope the Tikka T3 LS is a good rifle. I bought 2 last year (270WSM - one for my fiance-now wife 2 weeks ago, and one for me!. But I still prefer my Sako m75SS 300WM as my main rifle. When I get a new rifle (338 probably) it will more than likely be in the Grey Wolf.
