Sako guys, anyone have one of these?

I've seen them on 75 deluxe models, but never on a 75 SS model. Didn't even know they existed until a gent in the US sent me these pics...

Don't post that pic! Everyone has been blindly converting and buying detach mag guns for years. If people see the smooth sleek lines they will all want one. I guess we can call it the un-loosable mag.

One of the selling features of the Sako to me IS the detachable mag. As far as floorplates go the Sako is very nice.

RUM calibers had them as well as the Deluxe ones. If I find on, that is exactly what I want.

Apparently it was one of the first 75's to land in NA, then they switched to DM? He's got an EDGE stock on it, nice rig.

I know there were a few custom shop ones built, but I believe they were single shot? I have never seen one up close though. Not sure what they did in regards to the floor plate when it came to those particular rifles? Seen a few advertised on GB over the years.

My brother just bought a NIB SS 75 in 300RUM - and it has the floorplate. I got a chance to play with it, and can tell you they are pretty much the same as the DM's with the bottom of the mag popped out and a floorplate installed.

I prefer my detachable mags, so seeing a hinged floorplate would make me think "pass" more than anything

The floor plate pictured is very similar to the one on my L61, from the mid 1960s.

I to prefer the DM, but I can see how some guys like the floorplate option.

Not that it matters, but that is a McMillan stock, not factory, so even if they were indexed on the factory one, the McMillan is slightly different.
