SAKO L/A Series Scopes with Factory Ring-mounts

Guys with Aiii, L61r, AV long actions who are running the OEM ring mounts. What scopes are you using that are long enough to mount on this loooong action?

Preference for relatively modern scopes (10-15 years old tops), and lower bottom end magnification ranges. 1 inch to match the factory ring mounts.

Leupold ring mounts and you gain the flexibility to mount a short 2.5-8 Leupold

Leupold Vari X III 3.5-10 on one, Leupold M8 4x on the other. Both fit well in medium ringmounts.

I use the one-piece Optilocks on an 85L. Initially I wanted to mount a Z3 3-10X42 but the main tube was too short to fit the mounts. So, I went with a Z5 3-18X44 as it has a much longer main tube.

Currently my AV .458 Lott with Leupold ring mounts Nikon Monarch III 1-4x20mm. Also fit Leupold 1-4x20mm, 2.5x20mm & 4x28mm Compact.

Just buy a scope with a stright tube, 1” or 30 mm.
Ive got two Sako long actions with a 1.5x5x leopold 1”” tube
My 7x64 has quick detached scope rings from leopould, thus iron sights can be used or scope.

Yep Leupold FX-II Ultralight 2.5x20mm was on my .30-06 Sako 85 Bavarian Carbine nice scope. https://i.imgur.com/PmbC0GI.jpg
