Sako M995

A friend of mine has offered to sell me his Sako M995 and is asking $1000.00. Does anyone have any experience with these rifles?

It is basically the action currently used on their TRG rifles. Nothing wrong with it! Nice rifle

Depending on what caliber, condition and number of rounds this is definitely in the ball-park

Also known as the TRG-S. I have one in 338 Lapua. Nice rifle. Lousy bottom metal. Luckily it's easily replaced. - dan

They shoot good, I've had a couple over the years.

I've known a few guys that had them and quite liked them. A buddy had one in the 338 Lapua and it performed well for him. He only sold it when someone offered him way more than it was worth. Then he went out and found another. Sneaky bugger!

It's chambered in .30-378 Weatherby... My only concern is that the ammo is expen$ive!

I think I can get by with handloading though... ;-)

Great rifle, just traded one in for a special rifle, but was nothing wrong with the M995

If you need brass let me know! I may have some.
