i was looking at a used one in a 300 win mag .looks like to be a solid built gun . any comments on these rifles .

Sako L61Rs are great rifles - you will not be displeased with it.

Great gun ussually has a very nice checkering pattern and fin straight Euro walnut, solid gun, but a little heavy for sum! I love them, wish I could buy them all!

I have two, one in 7MM Rem mag and the other in 416 Rem mag, both actions are as smooth as it gets and very accurate. A little heavy, but I like the weight in the larger calibers....
