Does any one know where I can buy the sako one piece ring mounts as oposed to the rings and bases. I see them on the Sako website but have never seen them in stores.

Thanks

These are "Optilock" with the bushings, same as Burris Signature.

I looked high and low a couple years back for a set of these for a Tikka T3, couldn't find anywhere in N. America. Did find a listing for 'em in New Zealand, pretty pricey! I'd guess expect to pay in $150 + range. I wanted them specifically because I think a ring mount, because of fewer pieces and screws, is that much stronger and problem free.

I looked over Near Manufacturing's website, couldn't seem to find 'em there...???

But they sure do make some good looking rings! Serious stuff!

talley, google them have a great sako line, near makes EXCELLENT stuff if they have what you need and are local. Battle river sports in stettle has a good supply of sako factory mounts, lots of choices

Yes those ones. I also like the fact that they eliminate one connection (between ring and base)

I looked around for a few sets of these, but they are not easy to find and expensive to import. Ended up buying Optilock rings and bases for about half the cost of the ringmounts.

Leupold also makes rings that clamp directly to the Sako dovetails, with no separate bases required. They're made of steel, look good, and allow for very good eye relief. The original clamp-on rings made by Sako always forced the mounting of the scope a bit too far back for my taste.

I don't have any experience with the new Opti-Locks, maybe they are better in this regard.

I got mine from Corlanes in Dawson Creek. Not cheap but they look good and they're solid.
Think I paid around $150.
