Would anyone be able to tell me if you can use or modify a sako barrel to fit a howa action. I need a new barrel for my howa and I saw a Bevin King barell for a Sako for sale in the right caliber.

Thanks Everett

The Sako likely doesn't have the right threads. Howa made Weatherby Vanguard rifles at one time. So a barrel for one of them should fit your rifle if it's the Howa version of the Vanguard.
Why do you think you need a new barrel?

The barrel that is curently on the action has been abused. I took a tumble while goat hunting last year snaped of the front site and trashed the crown. As well I have put well over 2000 rounds through it and the acuracy was heading south. Its actualy a Mossberg 1550 made buy Howa. I have other guns but this has been a lucky rifle for me as I have taken over a dozen deer with it.

"...over 2000 rounds..." That's not a lot. The crown can be redone without a lot of fuss or expense.
You may want to have a look at this. Add the W's.

Then there's this. .mossbergcollectors.org/
Gunparts has parts for the Mossberg 1500, I'd almost bet that the front sight is the same as that on your rifle. Or you could put aftermarket sights on it.
