Sako TRG-22, what to do after barrel wear out?

if you have a sako trg 22, and it's gone through 100000000+ rounds. what do you do about it? except selling it?

does any riflesmith swap barrels on sako?

If you can afford to shoot ~6 million dollars worth of ammo through it I suspect that you could afford to just buy a new rifle.

any riflesmith should be able to rebarrel it for you.

I'm not familar with the rifle. Could it be calibered up a notch, or bored and relined with the existing caliber?

definetly a nice rifle and definetly worth a new barrel, most gunsmiths should be able to install a new one, i would recomend a kreiger barrel, sometimes a little pricy but definetly worth the coin.

You have a few options.

Have a smith replace the barrel (match grade or standard). Recommend match grade.

Have a smith accurize the action and then install a barrel. This service varies depending on smith.
