Not to sure if this thread belongs here or not. I am wondering if anybody has any experience with the factory adjustable trigger on these Sako M995 rifles and what are your opinions. I picked up one of these rifles a few years back and am just now starting to tinker with it. I prefer a lighter trigger on my rifles, but this one seems a little heavy(minimum 2 lbs). Is there a better aftermarket trigger, 15-20 ounces, you could recommend for this rifle?

I found the manual and apparently it has a double set trigger. It says if you want reduced trigger pull to push the trigger forward. So, 2-4 lbs regular, push forward, 9 ounces. The only trouble is when I push the trigger forward, nothing happens and no forward movement at all, it doesn't seem to working so I will have to do more research on it.

I see, there were two options available. I can't seem to find much info on Jewell triggers, any idea on a knowledgeable source for these?

I sold a jewell for a Finnfire last year, but theyre essentially non existant. Try posting a picture of your trigger- we might be able to give a few better pointers

That would be a single set trigger. A double set has 2 trigger levers, pulling on the set lever, sets the main trigger lever to a lighter pull.
