My nieghbor had one in 30-378. I bugged him for a couple of years to sell it to me. Then one day he decided to sell it to fund a new rifle project, two days after I had just bought two rifles and of course my gun funds were low and I couldnt afford it
I hate it when that happens, but it almost always seems to be the case.
I have one in 7mm STW that is currently for sale and and another in 338 Lapua (keeping that one). They are both excellent shooters at a reasonnable price.
As Dustin mentioned, I have one in 338 Lapua. It's an accurate, powerful rifle. Mine was for sale for a while, but the lad backed out, so I decided to convert it to a switch barrel project instead. - dan
Too bad. You missed out on a great rifle for the money. The M995 action is worth the money most people pay for the full rifle.
I have one in 30-378 weatherby. Great rifle my only complaint is recoil. It was a purely humting rifle but I've shot it from the bench a couple of times for accuracy. If I were to do it more often a muzzle break would definantly be on my shopping list.
A fellow that I hunt with has a TRG S in 30-378 as well.Using factory loads his rifle produces much more recoil than my 300ultramags using handloads producing only 75fps less.
I just met a guy that has one is 338 Lapua, what a great looking rifle! This fellow loved it, and would not sell it for the world. He had a brake on it,
