I have got both the TRG 22 and TRG 42 in the 338 cal . I have had problems with both triggers . They start sticking or get really hard to pull. Has anyone else had this problem ? If so what is the cure ?

I own a TRG-22, fantastic rifle. All TRG triggers are customizable to your liking. Read the manual on adjusting the trigger. You have to play with it till you get the lightest weight for functional reliability. To light will result in a sicky or hard trigger as you describe and will not function correctly. Add a bit more weight and it will work properly.

Now go shoot. :)

A gunsmith... why try and #### around with such an important part of your rifle.

I'm not sure, but if think there use to be a recall for some TRG trigger pins (rust problem). You can call to Stoeger Canada (I think they are the importers of Sako) and check with them.
