Sako III......... in 7mm-08.
Don't know diddly sqwatt about these rifles.
One showed up in my mitts and need to get a value
for the up coming gun show.
I'd rate it as good.
Detach mag with normal dings and ouchies.
Has the 2 1/2 way safety, sort of like the Browning.
You can open the bolt with the safety on by pushing down the
button to unlock the bolt.
Wood stock, unfluted and blued.

Older model Sakos tend to be similarly priced .. typical ranges depending upon condition are:
- excellent : $1500 to $2000, .. depending on whether its a standard or fancy stock
- very good : $1200 to $1500, .. " "
- good : $750 to $1200, .. " "

Modifications to Sakos bring down the price

LOP is 14 1/2" including the Pachmayr pad.
Subtract 1" without.

The bluing sure is deep and from the picture she sure does luke purdy too.
