they are really nice stocks. the military likes them alot. "usa" anyway. but the problem is for the avarage guy your looking at around + 3-4000 just for the folding option on the stock at retail. " for sako action that is"

Yes, they are pricey for just the stock, last I heard was $2900USD for the sako Trg folding stock, but wonder what is the price for that stock in rem700 action?

Sako TRG stocks are very pricey. A 700 action would have be modified to fit into one, as there is no 700 style recoil lug on a Sako TRG action. It think it would involve a fair bit of machining to get it to fit. There are three parts to a TRG stock, the rear buttstock, the chassis, and the forestock. The folding stock options I have seen for sale, are the replacement for the buttstock section only, not the entire stock system. Very cost prohibitive. A McMillan A5 is a close match, but does not have the chassis system. I don't think it would really matter that much (at all) as far as accuracy goes.

For a Rem700 action +Sako style stock from sako, I don't believe price are any better than the original Sako TRG folding stock, because it made by sako.

For that price, better of stay with AICS stock , with the folded version price are around $1400, very comfortable. and it accurate!
