I've been checking this place out for a while using it for all the great info. Thanks for being such a great resource. I started shooting with rifles and thought my shooting days were over after I lost my sight, but thanks to a friend who constantly nags, I'm back at it again, but without the option of seeing my targets. I'm re-learning how to shoot and also somehow got into pistols. My groupings could be better, but at least they're somewhat close and on paper! I look forward to learning more from everyone here.

Unless I misunderstood your post I assume you are visually impaired. I had a friend who lost an eye to cancer but was able to do alot more than he thought he could with help. Welcome to the forum.

you're right, I'm visually impaired and do not have enough vision in either eye for aquiring my target picture. its a very interesting way of shooting. My muscle memory helps me get in the correct position, but my body feels confused and weird because there is no target picture when aiming. This may be the same type of feeling those who are relearning how to walk have. Blueskies, are you also on the dropzone skydiving forum?
