Stop to buy paint and came home with paint and two boxes of 9mm.
I didn't notice until I got home that it was lacquered steel case.
Rather than drive back I thought I would try it and see if it shoots clean.
After 40 rds I had a FTE .I stripped it down and could not lift it out using
a brass rifle cartridge. At home I was able to remove it with some filler rod from the tig.

This is what I found

Is it just the lacquered case or could the primer have distorted the case.

Ive shot a lot of it out of my SigP320 and get a lot of those..i think its the laquered cases thats doing it..I shoot it in one of my Norcs and it runs flawlessly tho...cannot figure that one out at all

My sig2022 has a devil of a time with Barnaul. After a few rounds it gets warm seems the lacquer gets sticky and it won't extract the empties. I just don't use it. I usually shoot 2-3 boxes each trip to the range so I don't miss the extra $6-8 trial cost to buy brass case.

Thanks guys
I thought it may or may not like it and cause jams but didn't think it would fuse to the barrel .
As was mentioned I guess it was the heat that did it.
I think I will just give the other box away to the next person I see using lacquer.
The cost of a box just isn't worth the feeling I got when that new gun would not open.
