SAM 1911 Stainless commander, question is it made of stainless steel?

i know it's a stupid question. but i haven't been able to find satisfying answer.
i searched on here, but some say it's painted, and i can't find references to Stainless steel made commander on SAM website.

thought about asking wolverine, and i will if nobody knows the answer.

i just want a cheap stainless steel 1911 to use as base for 22 kit. (and SAM looks GOOOD.)

Slide or Frame.. Their website says the slide is 416 stainless.. It doesn't say anything about the frame.. But I would suspect it is stainless of some variation as well..

It is stainless. Wolverine confirmed this in their dealer forum.
