I have a SAM 1911, specifically the omega 6 model. I have been looking at changing the front and rear sights however i have heard the sight cuts are not to spec and wont work with most aftermarket sights. Does anyone know of, or has had any luck with changing the sights on this gun?

Its not that they are out of spec, they just use their own sight cuts. Kimber, S&W, SA, all use different sight cuts as well, its not a spec thing, more of a preference thing.. You can fire off an email to SAM or even try Wolverine Supplies and ask what the dimensions are.
