same sight on the LEC and LE?

As Green said, but there are at least five different sight leaves floating around that are marked to 2000yds, only one would be correct for an LEC.

The sight ramps on LEC base are lower and LEC leaf has a lower leaf cap than MLE.

Though similar with 2000 yds graduation, LMC looks almost same as LEC but sighting is different for the different barrel.

There are also Martini Metford and Martini Enfield leaves that are marked to 2000 yds, each subtly different yet again.

A correct LEC leaf will have EC (Enfield Carbine) marked on leaf face lower right.
New Zealand contract LECs will have EC/88 (Enfield Carbine Fitted to Accept Pattern 1888 Bayonet) marking.

Clear as mud, aint it?
