As you are all aware the Liberal government has publicly stated it plans to ban and restricted the ownership of many types of firearms in future. These bans will affect all of us either as firearm owners! Attached are sample letters I have sent out to numerous representatives. Please tailor the letter to express your own concerns and change your introduction to the correct person. Print your letters, sign them and address the envelopes.

I am asking that you as a firearms owner write to the following people ASAP!

Also write to your local MP, MLA and municipal council members.

I am writing to you today to express my deep concern with actions your government is taking to unfairly target lawful gun owners. You have publicly stated that you intend to ban the legal ownership of many types of firearms with OIC’s and implementing a buy back program. I fail to see how these measures will enhance public and police safety. By simply banning an item which is legally owned it does nothing to deter the criminal element or the use of firearms in crime. Instead of focusing on the legal firearm owner, I believe this money would be better spent focusing on law enforcement, crime prevention programs and our justice system. A focus on the root cause of a problem is always a better step in solving a problem.

It is incumbent on you and your colleagues to make every legitimate effort to fight actual crime and to bring forth your ideas to the Commons where it may be studied and debated by all Members of Parliament. It is imperative you keep in mind that western Canada fully rejected the policies and platforms of your government and overall Liberal support was greatly diminished.

I am open to discussing ideas would enhance legal firearm ownership while combatting the criminal use of firearms. Please fell free to contact me.

Nice letter, one correction it should be root causes-not route causes. I've already sent a fairly similar letter to my local MP here.
 
If just half of the CGN family wrote, it would certainly help. Numbers do matter so come on guys, let’s bombard them with letters.

Of course, these clowns don’t read all the mail but their staffers do and when there is a very large stack of letters in the office someone has to notice.

I’ve written to the Turd and Blair already but will send another to both of them.
 
I don't want to belittle any one's efferts but this fight is not over. Letters and protests must keep happening, we must continue to keep the pressure on. If you wrote at Christmas then it is past time to write again or visit your MP. Write letters to your local newspaper, educate your neighbors.

the sheer stupidity boggles my mind.. one of my projects is the Lawrence Heights Revitalization in North York (Toronto)... one of the more shooting prone areas of toronto with all the gangbangers around.. there have literally been people shot to death where i hold site meetings etc... i am going to ask how taking my firearms away is going to prevent gun crime and shootings and keep me safe during work!!! because sure as #### these gangbanger turds didn't acquire their pew pew legally!

Honestly, i think a letter to each of the 338 members. We should also let the conservative MP know the seriousness of it.

Can we have someone create a template taiLor to CPC MPs?
 
If you go to the House of Commons website, you can download the entire MP contact list in Excel form.

You can then use this to automate envelope and letter generation in Word

Send them out weekly to every MP
 
I sent letters to bill blair, justin trudeau and my mp. I have also sent letters to the mayor of halifax my mla and the premier of NS. Furthermore i have sent letters to every single senator from Nova Scotia and to the NDP leader Mr. Singh.

Who else do i need to send letters to?

Please advise.
