I read through a lot of old posts on this rifle but could find no answer as to what its status is with regards to it coming to Canada or not. It's one of the few rifles I'd take a second job to buy so I'm very motivated to find out whats going on with this one.

In the RCMP firearms labs hands my friend is sitting beside the Scar in their office. I wouldn't count on it being approved anytime soon, but you never know.

As ,much as I like guns, there is a rifle obstructing the view of something that I'd like to see in this photograph. Perhaps the rifle can be posted n a picture without other distractions.

When the SAPR comes back from being T&E by a local agency it is off to CFSAC 2012 - after that we can maybe make arrangments for you to fondle at Target.

Kidding! Very nice rifle. And since you're limited to 5 in .308 anyway, the SA magazines are perfect.

I think it's even lighter then the normal Swiss Rifle

True, but it's still heavier than an AR15 and that's better for .308, is what I was trying to say.
