The SAPRL will be hosting two matches again this year at the amazing Taber Shooting Foundation.

The first match will be in June 16th and the second match will be on September 8th.

Registration for the first match will be near the end of February.

Additional details to follow.

Awesome! Booked into the calendar, now just need to wait for signup so I can book time off work. Thanks for getting this setup Ryan, hopefully CDTSA can work around these dates

Just a reminder that registration is opening in just a couple more days.

This year we will be running different classes if anyone is interested. We will have:
Open Class
Tactical Class - 223/308 only
Budget class - Sort of like production class in the States but a bit different.

Make sure to check out our Facebook page to see who we have on for sponsors this year. The prize table is shaping up to be even better than last year.

When we register will it explain what the requirements for Budget Class are?

It will not as there are a lot of variables but we will be sending out an email after the match is full with some additional details (and once we get some specifics figured out). If you are interested in the class I would need to know the details of your set-up.

The idea is to approximate the Production class in the US but be bit more flexible because a guy replacing his crap trigger in his Rem700 shouldn't be thrown him into open class. I know there are a couple of guys who run a factory barreled action in a stock so this will probably include them as well.

That sounds great I would be running a Ruger Precision in 6.5 Creedmoor with a Burris XTRII 5-25 and a Timney trigger. Your comment about the trigger is what I was wondering about.

I've never shot a match before and would really like to learn to shoot PRS.
