Just visited a gun show in the states and had to try out the feel of two pistols from Turkey.
Only able to handle them for a short try, not to shoot any.
First off was a B6 by the company Sarsilmaz.
This is the company that makes the AR24 pistols for Armalite.
The B6 is a polymer framed with steel slide.
Funny thing is that the slide feels really awkwardly too small when you #### it.
The rails on the frame are internally set with the slide rails fitting inside the frame, to me at least, the size of the slide felt incredibly too small in relation to the pistol.
It is probably meant more for comfort in size for CCW applications.
DA/SA and beautiful fit and finish overall. Action incredibly smooth.
I'll stick with their Klinic or AR24 pistols.
Next to handle was a Stingray by the company Canik55.
Again, beautiful fit and finish, super smooth action and nice DA/SA trigger.
I did find it pretty heavy overall. It should be good at taking up and absorbing some recoil though.
Fit, finish and machining on both were very good.
I already have two other Turkish pistols, a Kanuni by Tisas and a Yavuz 16 Regard by Girsan.
I look forward to someone bringing more of products to Canada one day.
